Going through my archives, I came across this photo of me with Dwight and Nancy Byers having a coffee at bottom of Swains Lane, Highgate, London taken 1992. Dwight is the nephew of Eunice Ingham.
Mr and Mrs Jack Warner
Lived next door to my parents in Broadstairs Kent.
Molly was a lovely lady, who at this time was in her
90s. She loved the positive techniques of ART!
Every time I visited my parents I would treat her.
And have tea and cakes and a good old natter after.
The picture was taken in about 1987
In 1985 I travelled to China
and met Dr. Frances Wong,
who was the principle of the Chinese
Acupuncture Association.
She confirmed my doubts
that Reflexology did not begin in China! Something
I never really believed.
A lovely lady, who arranged many
interesting meetings for me with the top
acupuncturists in China. She taught me how
to breath through my feet, amongst other things.
I learned so much through her.
In 1990 we were guests at the Singapore
Acupuncture and Reflexology Conference.
Left to right:
Lilian Tibshraeny, Dwight Byers, Tony Porter
and the principles.
The students were all so keen to learn from us.
We were called the Masters!
Linda Yee
My interpreter and guide in Singapore.
Here we are in one of the many restaurants
she took me to after each seminar.
Such a lovely lady. Apart from being a very good
reflexologist Linda was also a children's school teacher, and spoke several languages, including perfect English.
I often wonder what happened to her.
George is the leading reflexologist in Singapore. We spent many good times with them. It is George who uses a swan's quill in a very precise way on the toes to treat spinal injury
patients. We witnessed some remarkable instant effects. One a paraplegic patient where, after George's quick treatment was able to get out of his wheelchair and walk a short distance. It is a very quick but painful treatment, which produces an electric shock throughout the body.
He is the only person I know to use this technique.
George and Geraldine
have devoted their lives to reflexology
They have a lovely and very busy clinic in Singapore.
Wonderful, positive and often painful techniques
Performed with great skill, and very effective.
Somehow I found myself in Ulaanbaatar
Capital city of Mongolia in the Winter!
- 32 degrees!
I thought I would find out what the reflexology
scene was like there, or was it something else as well!
Not saying, some things have to be kept secret!
Amazingly traffic keeps running, no salt used on the roads,
Just a ridged layer of inches of thick ice that you drive or walk on.
I did manage to find a place which gave reflexology, quite good it was to.
Somewhere in Holland about 1994 It was such a pleasure giving seminars in Holland. Dwight and I really got things going in that country with such lovely and enthusiastic people
Somewhere in Holland 1994 possibly Waiting for the bus to arrive to take us to the next venue. I remember it being a cold morning.
I always enjoyed going to Holland to give seminars, in fact I still do. This was one of our earlier groups Dwight in front of me on the left.
This is the class at work, not sure of the location in Holland. Can you help?
Elsemarie Rich used to organise Dwight's and my seminars in Holland. This picture was taken at Monique Schweitzer's centre near Toulouse about 2009

This seminar was at the Monique Schweitzer centre outside Toulouse about 2009
This is me with Dwight Byers
and Dr Ray Wunderlich Snr.
Dr. Wunderlich was a very well known Medical doctor in Florida, like his Father before him.
Ray was a foremost naturopathic
practitioner and ran a great treatment centre in Florida.
His book 'Sugar and your Health' is the best book on the subject of the dangers of sugar.
Ray also held a Doctorate
in English and wrote regularly
for the British Guardian newspaper
This photo was taken in October 2010 while Dwight and his grandson James were sightseeing in the beautiful city of Bath. James has taken over the 'helm' of the I.I.R. Internationally. Continuing the Ingham dynasty.
